Bluegrass Insider exists to promote prep basketball in Kentucky. This forum is an extra feature, allowing fans the opportunity to promote and support their favorite schools, players, coaches, etc. Please keep that approach in mind when using this service.
Users of Bluegrass Insider’s forum agree to the following rules and guidelines at all times:* Advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes and solicitations are not allowed.
* No disparaging or taunting comments. This includes name calling and personal attacks towards any forum member, school, player, coach, etc. Keeping in mind the youth of our student-athletes, all negative comments are strictly prohibited. Debate on a player’s abilities and ranking is permitted, but in respectful taste and tone.
* Do not comment on the manner in which another member has posted, or any violations you might find in their postings. Forum administrators will handle the situation as quickly as possible. If you believe a message has violated these guidelines, please e-mail
info@bluegrassinsider.com. Additionally, do not complain about the forum’s management.
* Derogatory comments about a person’s race, religion, nationality, creed or sexual orientation will not be tolerated.
* No school-specific (or generalized) recruiting comments or accusations. No discussion about where a player lives or has lived in a recruiting context. No unfounded transfer rumors.
* Do not criticize a school's administration, including superintendents, principals, athletic directors, coaches and others. Discussion of a school's administrative decisions and policies will not be tolerated. However, debate regarding the successes, styles and other characteristics of coaches will be allowed when presented in a tasteful manner.
* Do not attempt to determine or divulge a user’s identity.
* Do not knowingly post false or incorrect information.
* User names that contain profanity, sound like profanity or attempt to mimic another user’s alias are not allowed. Avatars must also been in good taste.
* Any attempt to use or suggest profanity is prohibited. This means you may not use symbols to replace some or all of the letters in a word that might otherwise be prohibited.
* No one else may access or login to your account for any reason. Accounts may not be shared.
* Within reason, please make an attempt to use correct capitalization, punctuation and grammar when posting.
Violation of these terms will result in:1. Warning sent via private messenger function and/or e-mail address on file with username. (The e-mail address you submitted when registering account.)
2. The deletion of your account.
3. The banning of your e-mail address.
4. The banning of your I.P. address.
Forum administrators have right to pursue these steps at any time, depending on the seriousness of the violations committed.
Posts that moderators determine to be headed in an ill-fated direction or have a distasteful tone may be closed -- or locked -- to thwart potential problems.
